About GV Optical

When we say three generations, we mean it. In 1972 Goleta Valley Optical was founded by Don Knauss. His son, Dan, continued the business in the nineteen eighties and currently works together with his wife Jackie and his own two sons Jacob and Jonathon. Together, the Knauss family has grown what was once a small eyeglass workshop into two fully-fledged eyewear centers with the ability to provide fast and personalized service. By teaming up with independent doctors of optometry, GV Optical now has the facility to provide eye exams and optometry care at both of our locations.
